Abstract

Supervision in education is the most important part in increasing the quality of education at school, so that each education institution must have program of supervision in their school. The supervisors at school not only perform supervision according to their willing and opportunity but also choose supervision approaches relevant to the teacher’s need. Because many teachers consider that supervision is not very important in teaching activity since the supervisors do not give satisfaction in performing supervision. On the contrary, the teachers feel that supervision is very important in teaching activity since supervision approaches which are applied give satisfaction. Scientific supervision is one of supervision approaches which need to be applied at schools, because it is rationale, flexible and democratic.
